Can ipTTY be setup as an answering machine?
While the application was not originally designed to do this, there is a work around that users have found helpful.
1. Setup ipTTY to auto answer every call via Settings -> Incoming Call.
2. Create after hours greeting via Settings -> Answering Tab (i.e. No one is available to take your call. Please leave a message. GA to SK"
3. Setup ipTTY to save every conversation automatically via Settings -> Save Conversation Tab.
When a call comes into your organization and routed to an ipTTY client, the client will auto answer, send the after hours greeting and save the conversation for your employee to check when they get in the next day.
Keep in mind that the greeting will need to be changed for this as there is no feature in ipTTY to manage an after hours greeting.
